About Us

The Prince George Agricultural and Historical Association began as an unincorporated group in 1912. That’s right, we have been an active group operating for over 100 years!

It began as a group to bring together the community to support one another through agriculture. While in the past we were only operating the annual British Columbia Northern Exhibition, we have expanded to become more community minded and to provide a place to host year-round activities.

Make no mistake, the BCNE is still a large part of what we do, and we are excited to be able to host it annually for the community. For more information regarding the BCNE, please see the BCNE tab on the website.

With our expansion is participation in community events, as we believe that supporting our community benefits all. If you have an event that you need active participants in, please feel free to reach out to our General Manager and we will do our best to help you in any way that we can.

We have also started to develop the BCNE Outdoor Ag Arena at Exhibition Park. This is a wonderful way to support our agricultural community, and we are now able to provide a place where year-round activities can be held. And the great news is, the grounds aren’t restricted to just equine events. Whatever your event, if you think the grounds may be a good fit for you, reach out to discuss your options.
